Holding on. Going beyond. Both choices contain their own infinite possibilities however infinitesimal. Unsurprisingly, we constantly find ourselves wrestling with the existential significance they brim with.
Too often, holding on is motivated by fear rather than patience. And, too often, going beyond is the result of a desire to escape rather than the result of meaningful action.
Fuelling the crooked application is the very pesky, very human delusion that we can reap the fruits without the work both choices require; a trick the mind employs in an attempt to preserve the ego and blot out the trade-offs.
