Essence Unseen

A high-contrast, black-and-white image shows three deep wall shelves are lined with mannequin busts. Each bust has a different face, skin tone, and hair style.

The essence of who we are seldom gets acknowledged, for it is something that is not measurable in a formal sense. It is a pure sense; an inner knowing. To recognize it and commune with it is an experience that cannot be forced, manipulated, or taught.
In a world where much gets in the way of being able to sense it within ourselves and others, it is an elusive essence, or it is seemingly nonexistent.
Snapshot glimpses come, though. Heed and take hold whenever you can.
